With donations more than doubling last year’s total and the firm ranking among the top Scottish participants, the campaign highlights how making a Will can also support some of the UK’s leading charities.
Pomphreys Solicitors is delighted to report another highly successful Will Aid campaign, with the firm raising a record amount for charity during November 2025.
While the campaign is still wrapping up, with a small number of clients attending to sign their Wills and make donations, early figures already show a significant increase on last year’s total. This year’s campaign has raised £3,670.00, compared with £1,730.00 in 2024, representing a substantial year-on-year increase.
The firm is also pleased to confirm that Pomphreys currently sits 5th in the Will Aid Scottish league table, an excellent result given the size of the firm and the strong level of participation across Scotland.
Making a difference through Will Aid
Will Aid is a national charity campaign that brings together solicitors across the UK each November. Participating firms prepare straightforward Wills and, instead of charging their usual fee, invite clients to make a voluntary donation to Will Aid. These donations support nine leading UK charities, including Age UK, NSPCC, the British Red Cross and Save the Children.
For clients, Will Aid offers an opportunity to put their affairs in order while supporting causes that make a genuine difference to individuals, families and communities, both in the UK and internationally.
