Cartina Boyd is a Conveyancing Paralegal with Pomphreys Solicitors, based in the Hill Street office in Wishaw. We recently caught up with Catrina and discussed her role in Pomphreys
How did you end up in this role?
I started as a Legal Secretary with the firm and then had the opportunity to obtain my Paralegal Conveyancing Certificate, which I achieved by attending Strathclyde University weekly for one year.
What aspects of your job do you find most fulfilling?
Calling clients to confirm they can collect keys, as it’s usually an exciting time for them.
Could you describe your day at Pomphreys?
Every day, I speak to and meet with clients and liaise with other firms of Solicitors. I take instructions to submit formal offers and attend to files for the week ahead of settlements.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy reading, socialising with friends and family and going on holiday.
What do you appreciate most about working at Pomphreys?
The best part is teamwork in Hill Street – everyone pulling together.
